I was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. I enjoy the heat. I played rugby through college and played in the final four with the University of New Mexico and Elite 8 with University of Arizona. I took time off from rugby to earn my nursing degree. I work at Banner University Medical Center Tucson in a cardiac procedural area. I very much enjoy my job and get a lot of joy from being a nurse. I started CrossFit back in college for rugby and fell in love with it. I never had formal weightlifting experience or coaching and have enjoyed learning and growing in this sport. I find CrossFit to be a great stress reliever from my job not only with the intensity of the workouts but the people. I am looking forward to this new experience with coaching CrossFit and cannot wait to learn from all of you.
